VANCOUVER, WA — WWE Superstar John Cena shocked everyone in attendance last night, during a benefit concert held by the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA).

During a number by pop legend Stevie Wonder, Cena – who didn't appear to be all there – wobbled on stage and saluted the crowd, before turning towards the blind pop icon to flash his popular "You Can't See Me" hand sign in his direction.

Wonder, who was naturally oblivious to the scene, simply continued to smile and perform.

"It was John Cena," explained John Brodigan, chief of security for the event. "I thought it was a scheduled walk-on. But when he flashed Stevie that sign of his – you know the one I'm talking about – well, that was like, holy #$%& man."

That's when Meadows, accompanied by two members of his staff, immediately rushed the scene, apprehended Cena, and escorted him off stage (and out of the building).

Predictably, word got around pretty quickly of the incident, and representatives from various associations for the blind around the world issued statements of shock and outrage this morning, calling for an immediate public apology from Cena.

Neither WWE nor Cena could be reached for comment.
